2013 Annual Fish Rodeo
Saturday, April 20 for children 5 - 15 and Sunday, April 21 for members, wives and children 16 &
17. Both days from 8am - 4pm. MEMBERSHIP CARDS must be displayed to fish on Sunday. The
location this year will be LYONS PARK. No equipment allowed at the pond before 7am. The daily
creel limit for both children and adults will be 5 fish. RULES will be enforced! Stay within the
ropped-off areas. No littering, no alcoholic beverages, no wading in the pond or stream, no
snagging and no cleaning or gutting of fish at the pond. Parking will be behind the Lyons Borough
Hall off Kemp Street if the ground is dry. If the ground is wet, please park on the paved lot by the
Fire Company. Restrooms will be available in the park. There is no fee for adults this year,
however, donations will be gratefully accepted to offset the expense of the Rodeo. Prizes will be
given for the boy and the girl with the biggest fish. A drawing for door prizes will be held on
Saturday at 3pm at the registration table. Club members will be able to fish at the pond until
Saturday, April 27, 2013. Membership Cards must be available when fishing and shown on
request by Lyons officials or police. Please pick up your trash and cigarette butts.
